How to drink your water faster!
Water. We all need it. But why is it so darn hard to drink your 8 glasses a day?!
Below are my tips and tricks for drinking more water.
Drink with a straw! Seems like weird advice, right? Straws actually increase the amount of water you can drink at one time. At our last Sweat Pretty Retreat, I had Paige Poppe create these adorable tumblers to give as gifts, and I’ve heard multiple times that the straws have helped the girls drink more water! Make it a habit. Brainstorm a list of things you do every single day. Do you sit down to answer emails in the morning? If so, make it a point to drink a glass of water when you’re doing so. Do you make phone calls at lunch? Grab that glass of water. Drink a glass after every bathroom break and right when you wake up. Studies show that when you tie drinking water to other daily habits and routines, you will be more likely to meet your daily goal, so drink up!
Flavor your water. Cucumber, lemon, doterra essential oils… the flavors are endless! Your tastebuds will thank you, and of course, you’ll drink more!
Prettify your gallon container. Buy your gallon of water, grab a sharpie, and go to town with some cute reminders to drink throughout the day. You’ll be more likely to drink with motivational sayings like “keep going!” and “feeling awesome!” - just be sure the sayings are next to the time of day you should drink.
Trust me, drinking water is worth it. The benefits of drinking water include reduced acne, improved mood, more energy, reduced bloating, weight loss, and much more! You don’t want to miss out on such an easy way to be fit and healthy.
