An Eight Week Start to a Better Lifestyle
Every year around this time I reflect on the good, the great, the bad, and the ugly things that have happened over the previous 11 months. I think about what I did well, what I want to improve upon, and what events shaped the decisions I made during those times.
What I came to realize throughout my reflection this year is that the thing I want most in 2017 is to remain true to what I have always really wanted in my career: to not be your average fitness trainer, but instead be a better fitness trainer (i.e. the unicorn fitness trainer) for all of my clients.
But then I found myself wondering what really defines “better”? And I came to the conclusion that it's really up to the person who’s trying to improve and that’s what has lead me to create this challenge.
Not a "be a new you" "lose 10 pounds in 10 days" "finally get into shape like you’ve always wanted" or "this year’s the year" kind of challenge, but an "I love myself now, but I want to be better" kind of challenge. Wanting to be better or improve yourself is okay, girl - that's a good thing! Putting time and effort into yourself is the best investment you can ever make.
I want this challenge to be the start of a habit-forming, life-changing, totally transformational journey for you. Something that will stick with you for months and years to come, instead of feeling like you’re using some quick fix solution that really doesn’t work in the long run and truly isn’t realistic for you and the way you want to live your life.
I want to help you choose to focus on you this year.
Here’s what I mean:
What I am going to teach you is how to be intuitive with your body, so that you can live the lifestyle you want to live and not have to turn down things like dinner with friends due to a weird diet or workout plan.
You’re going to learn how to eat and work out intuitively, so that you are making rational and thought-out decisions about food and exercise which will soon become habits that you regularly practice without having to think twice.
Doing quick & efficient work outs that will work without spending tremendous amounts of hours in the gym. Work outs that feel great on the body without adding harsh damage.
Best of all, it will WORK. I promise you, it will. This challenge is not a quick fix, fab diet, calorie counting, crazy muscle workout, or strict limitation diet – I’ve tried all of those and they don’t work in the long term, trust me.
This lifestyle diet is what works and I don’t just mean for your body, but for your mind too. Because without having the right mindset and finding acceptance within yourself, your body will never follow suit.
We will go through a series of steps that will allow you to feel great every day, starting with loving yourself the way you are TODAY, finding peace with all of your flaws & proudly flaunting your flawlessness, and working toward a better version of you for the FUTURE.
Sweat for Y.O.U. 8 week schedule:
Week 1-2 : Freedom- freeing yourself of any unhealthy dieting habits or negative self-doubting thoughts.
Week 3-4: Discover- finding what you like & what your body agrees with.
Week 5-6: Take charge- using all the information you found in weeks 1-4 and starting to form habits around it.
Week 7-8: Live- finding your balance, to sustain your lifestyle for months to come.

You will learn balance, hard work, and how to love who you are.
